È arrivata la primavera finalmente.
Smetto di avvolgermi in cappotti, sciarpe, golfoni, scialli e strati e strati di maglioni di lana e ritorno a divertirmi a mixare tra loro i miei ultimi acquisti con reperti vintage scovati da qualche parte nell'armadio, adattando ogni neonato outfit all'occasione e alla destinazione del weekend. Perché, chiamatemi pure multipolare, c'è la Elena in tacco 15 e longuette di pelle che si aggira per i corridoi dell'ufficio, ma anche la Elena in skinny neri, anfibi e giubbotto di pelle in giro in moto per la campagna romana, quella in gilet di pelliccia, fedora nero e occhialoni tondi a passeggio per le vie di Londra ed infine quella in camicia a quadri e jeans per una domenica in campagna con gli amici. Che non si dica mai che non so adattarmi alle situazioni!
Dichiaro qui allora riaperta la stagione dei post "outfit of the weekend", interrotti ai primi freddi autunnali dello scorso ottobre.
Uomini che state leggendo, questa non è roba per voi, ve la risparmio volentieri: fatevi un giro sulle sezioni "travel" o "food" piuttosto.
Questi post nascono per un pubblico tutto al femminile: per me in primis, che così posso divertirmi a vestire per un attimo i panni della simil modella (in fondo, giocare è sempre bello, anche a trent'anni suonati), e poi per tutte le ragazze che, dopo essersi fatte una sana risata nell'ammirare i miei dibbi risultati di shooting fotografico, cercano qualche ispirazione tendenzialmente low cost per i prossimi viaggetti.
Iniziamo dal mio primo weekend primaverile fuori porta: roadtrip in Umbria, di cui prestissimo vi parleró. Sole pieno, l'occasione perfetta per tornare a sfoggiare un outfit total blu (uno dei miei must primaverili da sempre, mi ricorda molto le prime gite da piccolina e la mamma che mi vestiva tutta perfettina sui toni del blu)
Per svecchiare l'instant classic, fantasie a pois (altro mio must della bella stagione) e pantaloni vita alta larghi, lunghezza al ginocchio (se hanno un nome tecnico io ancora lo ignoro, ma state pur certi che me li vedrete addosso in tutte le salse nei prossimi mesi) abbinati a imprescindibili Stansmith bianche e blu (dio, quanto mi mancavano!)
Pronto così l'outfit fashion, ma anche super comodo, per aggirarsi per le stradine e i vicoli suggestivi dei paesini umbri.

Welcome back springtime, finally.
I can stop wrap me up in coats, scarves, pullovers, shawls and layers and layers of woolen jumpers and I'm back to play and mix my last purchases with vintage clothes I found somewhere in my wardrobe, adapting each newborn outfit to the occasion and to the weekend destination. You can call me "multipolar", if you want, but there's the Elena with 7 inches heels and leather skirt walking back and forth office hallways, but also the Elena in black skinny pants, biker boots and leather jacket on a motor bike tour in the Rome countryside; the one with fur waistcoat, black fedora and big round sunglasses walking down London streets and finally the one with checked shirt and blue jeans for a countryside Sunday with friends. You could never say I'm not good in adapting to the situations!
I declare then opened again the season of the "outfit of the weekend" posts, that I interrupted at first autumn chill last October.
Men, who are reading, that's not stuff for you, I gladly spare you this pare: have a look at "travel" or "food" sections, instead.
These post are thought for a only female target: for me, in primis, as in this way I can play pretending to be a model for a while (basically, this game is always fun, even at the age of 30), and then for all those girls that, after a long laugh in front of the questionable results of my photo shooting, are looking for some basically low cost inspirations for their next trips' outfits.
Let's start with my first spring weekend: Umbria roadtrip, that I will tell you about very soon. Full sun, the perfect time to get back to a total navy blue outfit (one of my springtime musts, it reminds me my childhood Sundays, when mom dressed me up like a baby blue doll).
For this instant classic to be less "oldish", polka dots patterns (another must of spring season) and high waist large pants, mid leg lenght (if they have a technical name I still ignore it, but you can be certain that you'll see me wearing them many many times during next montha), matching my essential white and blue Stansmith (I had been missing them so much!)
That's how to create the perfect, fashion, but super comfy, outfit to wander around narrow streets and pictoresque corners of Umbria towns.
