Dicono che il tacco 15 sia ormai un prolungamento naturale
del mio tallone, dicono.
Ed effettivamente per la maggior parte dell’anno mi sento più
a mio agio con un paio di pump Sergio Rossi ai piedi che in Converse.
Ma c’è una regola che non transigo mai: in vacanza, al mare,
almeno lì… NIENTE TACCHI!
Per gli outfit serali al massimo una zeppa o un sandalo piatto gioiello, ma trovo davvero fuori luogo i look troppo costruiti e i tacchi spropositati in riva al mare. Il bello di essere in vacanza è proprio questo: staccare dalla routine quotidiana anche nel modo di vestire e lasciare lo stile di tutti i giorni a casa, a Milano!
Non potevo che essere felicissima, quindi, quando al mio arrivo alla Pinktrotters' Villa di Mykonos (a brevissimo il racconto del mio weekend super glam!) ho trovato ad attendermi due paia di nuove espadrillas Manebì, il must have di quest’estate ormai alle porte: evviva le Pinktrotters e gli sponsor che supportano l'esperienza nelle Pinktrotters' Villas!
Comode, pratiche, in diversi colori e tessuti, perfetti per tutti gli outfit.
Io ho abbinato il modello in camoscio beige a caftano fucsia e panama coordinato, mentre le Blue Pony in tela a shorts bianchi e camicia jeans.
In entrambi i casi un tocco chic e fashion a un outfit molto semplice, l’ideale per trascorrere una giornata di vacanza al mare senza troppi fronzoli.
Sono talmente versatili che le ho indossate anche per completare l’outfit della nostra lezione di yoga al tramonto…altro che banali infradito!
Insomma, lunga vita allo stiletto in città ma spazio anche all’eccezione che conferma la regola: mai più senza espadrillas in spiaggia e dintorni!

They say 7”
heels are by now a natural extension of my leg, they say.
And,
actually,throughout most of the year I
feel more comfortable with my feet in a pair of Sergio Rossi pumps, than with
Converse sneakers.
But there’s
a rule a never give in: on holiday, at the seaside, at least there….NO HIGH
HEELS!
For evening
outfits, at most, a pair of wedges or jewel flat sandals are ok, but I find those
super purpose-built outfits, with excessive heels, by the beach, really out of place. What’s most beautiful of
being on vacation is right that: to take off from daily routine even in your
outfit and leave your everyday wardrobe at home, in Milano!
I couldn’t
be nothing but super happy, then, when I arrived at the Pinktrotters’ Villa in
Mykonos (very soon a posto on my super glam weekend!) I found there, waiting

I matched
the pair in beige suede with fuchsia caftan dress and Panama hat, while the
Blue Pony canvas ones to white shorts and jeans shirt.
In both
situations a touch of chic and fashion to a very simple outfit, the ideal to
spend a vacation day at the beach with no frills.
They are so
versatile that I wore them also to complete my outfit for our yoga lesson at
sunset time..way much better than a pair of common flip flops!
Hence, long
life to stiletto in the city, but also space to the exception that confirms the
rule: never again without espadrillas at the beach and around!
